Mindset During a Cut

When you’re trying to lose weight there will come a time where you will fell like shit, the 'hacks' stop being effective and you will want to murder someone (don’t do it lmao).

And this can be because you’re hungry/tired/exhausted/mentally clouded and then something small will trigger you and poof you explode!

But stop, this is the worse thing you can do, One of two things can happen:

  1. You feel guilty about overreacting, you spiral, and because you’re already low on energy, you don’t think clearly and feel like shit both physically and mentally.
  2. You become ‘that’ guy/girl who no one wants to hang around with when they’re on their cut (I mean, if you have superficial friends, then leave them, but your actual friends and family who genuinely love you would not want to hang around with you because you just hurt them/are rude to them).

But understand this, this is your body’s fight or flight response and when you feel a certain way, your body most likely will want to ‘flight’ it. 

And at this point is when you gotta remind yourself that whatever that you’re doing right now isn’t for anyone else but you.

No one’s asking you to do this.

No one’s telling you to do this.

No one’s forcing you to workout or eat these many calories.

The only person apart from you who would want this for you would be your coach.

And that’s what you need to remind yourself- that NO ONE’S MAKING YOU DO THIS. YOU’RE PUTTING YOURSELF THROUGH THIS. 

And that’s what makes the difference
