What shoes should you wear to the gym??

So you just joined the gym and want to cop a fancy bright pair of shoes to go with your #gymfit.

But what shoe should you actually get?

You would lean towards flashy running shoes which look super cool but is it good for you at the gym?

For running and walking (cardio) YES!!

But for lifting weights? NOT AT ALL.

Imagine you’re trying to lift things above your head while standing on a bean bag, what’s going to happen? You’re going to feel really unstable and will not be able to push!

Don’t get me wrong, they’re really comfortable and perfect for any cardio activity (HIIT, pilates xD, Spinning etc)

But if you want to lift some heavy a** weight then opt for something that has a thin sole and does not have a lot of cushioning! Cause the last thing you would want to happen is you falling because you’re not stable and then breaking something in your body.

My recommendations?

For weightlifting- Nike Romaleos, Nike Metcons, Converses, Jordans, Nike Dunks, Nike Blazers

For Cardio- Literally any running shoe which usually has a lot of cushioning

Best of both worlds-  Nike Free Metcon, Nike Free Run

So go grab the shoes that work for you and kill your workout!
